BRANDON WHITE

A Houston High School graduate has been promoted to lieutenant with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Brandon M. White began his new assignment Wednesday with Troop F, Jefferson City. The 18-year veteran of the patrol is a Houston native and 1995 HHS graduate.

White completed law enforcement academy in January 2001 as a member of the 78th recruit class. He worked as a trooper in Callaway, Camden and Miller counties of Troop F before he was promoted in May 2007 as assistant zone supervisor of Zone 8, Callaway County. White was promoted to sergeant and designated zone supervisor of Zone 9, Montgomery County, in July 2009.

He transferred to the training division of the patrol’s General Headquarters in June 2011 and was designated as an academy instructor.

White earned an associate of science degree in criminal justice from Mineral Area College in Park Hills. In 2018, he completed the Police Leadership: The WestPoint Model course.

Lt. White has one daughter, Sophia.
