A Licking man was arrested Memorial Day after he gave chase to a Missouri State Highway Patrol officer.
Earnest L. Skaggs, 40, was quickly apprehended by the trooper near Morton Road and North U.S. 63. Skaggs faces charges of DWI – alcohol, resisting arrest and exceeding the posted speed limit 20-25 miles per hour over the limit.
He is held at the Texas County Jail.
