Pastor Bill Villapiano of Faith Fellowship has been announced as the speaker at the May 12 HHS baccalaureate service.

Pastor Bill Villapiano of Faith Fellowship is the featured speaker for the 2019 Houston High School baccalaureate service.

Villapiano will address this year’s graduating class and those attending the annual service at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 12, inside Hiett Gymnasium. The event is hosted by the Houston Ministerial Alliance.

Villapiano, a 1975 HHS graduate, has pastored Faith Fellowship the past 34 years as the church grew from a storefront with 24 people to a 13-acre campus with 30,000 square feet.

Villapiano is the longest standing member of the ministerial alliance, having previously served 10 years as president. He was a founding board member for the Texas County Food Pantry and for two-and-a-half years traveled and spoke to pastors across the nation for Focus on the Family. He currently serves as a regional director for AFCM International and leads the organization’s executive leadership team.

Graduation is 6 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the HHS football field.
