Pit Stop's Ozark Treasures owner Darrell Aldrich stands inside his store's new location next to Burch Insurance on U.S. 63 in southern Houston.

While his store is no longer located in the old gas station building on U.S. 63 in southern Houston, owner Darrell Aldrich is keeping its name the same.

Pit Stop’s Ozark Treasures is now in the brick building a few hundred yards north of where it used to be, adjacent to Burch Insurance on the west side of U.S. 63.

The store opened for business in February 2016. Aldrich said things are going well, and that 2018 was by far Ozark Treasures’ best year.

“They say a small business has to be ready to tread water for about two or three years,” he said. “That has pretty much been the case for me, and there were some hard times, but last year was really good.”
