Swimming lessons will be held June 24-27 in Houston.
Sessions are 9 a.m. (level 4), 10 a.m. (level 3) and 11 a.m. (level 2). The level 1 instruction will not be held due to the unavailability of the kiddie pool.
Descriptions of the levels are:
- Level 2 – Big pool, shallow end. Comfortable in water, will go under water completely.
- Level 3 – Big pool, shallow end. Can already float on front and back.
- Level 4 – Big pool, deep end. Interested in development of freestyle, breast stroke, back stroke, butterfly and diving. Will prepare participants for swim team if interested.
Cost is $25 per swimmer and $20 for additional family members. Participants can sign up at city hall or the swimming pool.
