A Houston woman is charged with felony stalking following incidents earlier this year.

A Houston man faces a felony charge after a Houston Police Department investigation of alleged harassment that began in early March.

Eric J. Buell, 35, of 7912 Morton Road in Houston, is charged with first-degree stalking (a class E felony).

An investigating officer reported he was dispatched to a Houston business March 5 regarding a man continuously calling the store’s phone number. The officer made contact with two women there who stated Buell is the former boyfriend of one of the women and had called her at work about 40 to 50 times since she began her shift at 4 p.m.

The former girlfriend told the officer Buell sometimes even tells her where she is in the store and what she is doing, and that he has threatened to hurt or kill her on several occasions. She said the same thing had been going on since she kicked Buell out of her apartment after an incident in late February.

The woman told the officer she is so fearful of Buell that she has had to have co-workers take her home or even stayed somewhere else.

According to a report, Buell also posted several videos of himself using vulgar language about the former girlfriend and posted them on social media.

Buell was charged Monday. Bond is set at $200,000.
