A total of 34 citations and 25 warnings were issued in conjunction with a Missouri State Highway Patrol “Click It or Ticket” seat belt enforcement operation conducted May 31 in Texas County.
Troopers also arrested two people for misdemeanor drug possession, two for criminal violations and one person for an outstanding felony warrant.

•2 misdemeanor drug arrests

“Wearing your seat belt is the single easiest way to protect yourself if you are involved in a traffic crash,” said MSHP Troop G Capt. Bruce Fiske. “Please be the safest driver you can possibly be. Always pay attention to the task of driving, and please wear your seat belt at all times.”
