Julia “Pattie” Patricia Pearson, 63, of Success, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

She was born June 7, 1956, in Columbus, Ga., daughter of Edward and Marjorie Atwood Embrey. She and Rowland Pearson were married Nov. 11, 1984.

She enjoyed fishing, gardening, being outside, discovering new places and cooking. She even won some baking contests. She loved her cats, Christmas and other holidays, but most of all she loved being a mom.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Rowland Pearson of Success; two daughters, Bernadette Pearson of Richland and Elizabeth Campbell of Niceville, Fla.; six grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie Ruppenthal and Sarah Baber; two brothers, Edward Embrey Jr. and Brett Embrey; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life is 1-3 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Trinity Worship Center, 15015 Hwy AW, Plato. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
