Waylon Jamison Storm, 10 weeks old, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019, in Columbia from bowel complications.
He was born April 4, 2019, in Columbia, son of Joshua D. Storm and Melissa A. Gentry.
He was born 10 weeks early at Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Columbia. He had three surgeries and lots of extra medical support. He also had some great weeks with hardly any support, which allowed his family to hold him and give him their love.
He had two special nurses, Hannah and Karissa, who loved him and became his primary caregivers.
Survivors include his parents, Joshua Storm and Melissa Gentry of Raymondville; a sister, Emma M. Sanders; two brothers, Bryson A. Storm and Isaac D. Storm; grandparents, Darrell “Buck” and Suanne Storm of Licking and Sonja Gentry and OB Anderson of Grass Valley, Calif.; and many other extended family members and friends.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday, June 21, at Fox Funeral Home, Licking, with David Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Licking Cemetery followed by a potluck lunch at Deer Lick Park.
