A 1-year-old boy escaped serious injury Monday afternoon when a vehicle travelled off East Highway 17 and overturned near Houston, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Sgt. Dale Pounds said the northbound vehicle was driven by Christian I. Neal, 22, of Houston. Neal, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. Wyatt K. Ledder, 1, was restrained and had minor injuries and was sent to TCMH.
Pounds said the vehicle was totaled.
