The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Heather E. Stanton, 32, of 9352 Highway E at Houston, was issued a citation for displaying the plates of another on July 17.
•Amy A. Bowling, 38, of 250 Forrest Drive in Houston, was cited for first-degree trespassing after entering O’Reilly Auto Parts on July 12. She had been banned from the business after an incident July 9.
•Cody A. Mosley, 30, of 15870 Mesa Drive in Houston, was issued a citation for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Mesa Drive at about 9:20 p.m. July 11.
An officer made the stop after observing a brown pickup traveling without its head or taillights activated. The officer followed the truck onto Mesa drive and watched it travel off the right side of the roadway into the grass.
After making contact with the driver, Mosley, the officer smelled alcohol and field sobriety tests were conducted. Mosley was taken to jail, fingerprinted, and then given a courtesy ride back to his residence.
•Curtis R. Durham, 35, of 512 Ozark St. in Houston, was arrested on July 11 for having an active Texas County warrant for driving while intoxicated.
An officer who was aware of the warrant made the arrest at Durham’s residence at about 6:45 p.m. He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $25,000 bond.
•A 61-year-old Bucyrus woman reported on July 12 that her purse had been stolen from her car while she was inside a retail store on Grand Avenue. Investigation is ongoing.
