The Houston Police Department handled several investigations in the last week.

The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Clinton L. Gale, 60, of 12000 Highway FF at Bucyrus, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway after a traffic stop on Millstone Road at about 11:40 p.m. July 2.

An officer made the stop after observing a brown Ford pickup turn from the driving lane on U.S. 63 onto Millstone. The officer then saw the truck swerve onto the left side of the road, overcorrect and go off the right side of the road, almost hitting several mailboxes.

After making contact with the driver – Gale – the officer smelled alcohol and field sobriety tests were conducted. Gale was taken to jail for a 12-hour hold period.

•Renee S. Phillips, 56, of 506 W. Highway 17 in Houston, was cited on July 14 for allowing an animal to run at large – second offense.

•Curt C. Cichon, 47, and Billy J. Hayes Jr., 28, both of 406 Florence St. in Houston, were each issued citations for peace disturbance (by fighting) after an incident at their residence on June 26.

•Shaylin D. Hutsell, 24, of 125 Acorn St. in Houston, was cited for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident at U.S. 63 and Oak Hill Drive at about 10:15 a.m. July 11.

•Jeremy D. Sanders, 37, of 1127 Fisher Drive in Houston, was cited on July 5 for driving while revoked.

•Taylor W. Bryson, 22, of 1001 Cleveland Road in Houston, was cited on July 2 for failure to register a motor vehicle.

•Sarah J. Sanborn, 39, of 8516 Highway E at Houston, was cited on June 27 for operating a motor vehicle with expired plates.

•Kenneth J. Hall, 58, of 16464 Forrest Drive in Houston, was cited on July 9 for failure to register a motor vehicle.
