Roxanna Jeanette Bilderback, 70, was born Nov. 9, 1948 in Upton, Mo., to Doyle and Jessie (Zirschky) Williamson. She passed away July 26, 2019, at University Hospital, Columbia, Mo.
Roxanna grew up in the Upton area and attended a country school near her home. She graduated from Houston High School with the class of 1966.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billie; a son, Michael Ira Bilderback; a sister, Janet Anderson; and brothers-in-law, Jim Osburn and Ronald Bilderback.
Roxanna married Billie Ira Bilderback Jr. on Nov. 11, 1966. They raised their daughters on the family farm in Houston, Mo.
She is survived by her daughters, Shannon Nunnery of Houston, Mo., Jana Loge and husband, Jamie of Ava, Mo., Amy Russell and husband, Jason, of Forsyth, Mo., and Andrea Bilderback and husband, Michael Stus, of Ft Collins, Colo.; eight grandchildren, Bethany Loge, Forest Nunnery and wife, Sarah, Ben Loge, Bailey Loge, Prairie Nunnery and Ellie, Evan and Owen Russell; one great-granddaughter, Emille Nunnery; seven sisters, Janice Osburn of Republic, Mo., Joan Stice and husband, Ed, of Lebanon, Mo., Jean Kofahl and husband, Chris, of Chatham, Ill., Judy Mitchell and husband, John, of Bucyrus, Mo., Jackie Kell and husband, Greg, of Bucyrus, Mo., Jerri Reynolds and husband, Randy, of Paynesville, Ohio, and Jody Scherer and husband, Roy, of Sparta, Mo; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Roxanna worked at the nursing home for more than 20 years and the Houston School District for five-plus years. She enjoyed cattle farming with her husband, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and other members of her extensive family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2019, at Evans Funeral Home with Brother Ed Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jamie Loge, Jason Russell, Forest Nunnery, Benjamin Loge, Andrea Bilderback, Ray Stark, Jim Wilson and Michael Stus.
