The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Gennell Gan, 58, of 115 Ozark Terrace in Houston, was arrested June 15 for having an active Franklin County warrant for fraud. She was arrested at her residence and taken to the Texas County Jail, where she was unable to post $5,000 bond.
•Aaron M. Taylor, 27, of 114 North St. in Houston, was issued citations on June 2 for operating a motor vehicle with expired license plates and no insurance.
•A 39-year-old man reported on June 9 that his son’s John Deere bicycle valued at $200 had been stolen from the yard of his Hawthorn Street residence. The man named a Houston boy as a suspect. Investigation continues.
•Austin D. Duncan, 24, of 501 Locust St. in Edgar Springs, was arrested June 17 for having an active Houston municipal warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving while suspended.
An officer made the arrest after observing Duncan in the emergency room at Texas County Memorial Hospital. He was taken to jail where he posted $1,000 bond and was released.
•Brenda L. Brim, 53, of 17765 Highway B at Houston, was arrested on June 26 for having two active felony warrants for delivery of a controlled substance.
An officer made the arrest at the probation and parole office after being advised Brim was there. She was taken to the Texas County Jail and held without bond on the capias warrants.
•Glen A. Young, 62, of 4107 Highway YY at Summersville, was cited for operating a motor vehicle with expired license plates on June 19.
