Two persons were injured Wednesday, July 3, in an accident four miles east of Licking.

Two vehicles were totaled Thursday in a crash east of Licking, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Jacob Sellars said a northbound 2008 Mazda 6 driven by Kaleena B. Scheer, 17, of Licking, failed to yield at Highway 32 and Pursfull Drive and struck an eastbound 2007 Ford Fusion operated by Wanda K. Graber, 25, of Licking. 

Both woman sustained minor injuries. Scheer, who was not wearing a seat belt, went by ambulance to TCMH, Houston. Graber, who was wearing a seat belt, was sent to Salem Memorial District Hospital.
