Retired Navy Senior Chief Matthew Aaron Robison, 44, son of Phil and Judy Patton Robison, was born Dec. 2, 1974. He passed way at his Huggins home from cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna, also a Navy senior chief; his mother and younger sister, Andy Robison of Frankfort, Ind.; two daughters, Raleigh Slaybaugh and and Mattyson Robison of Lafayette, Ind.; and two grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Robinson grew up in Frankfort, Ind., and graduated from Frankfort High School. In 1996, he joined the U.S. Navy.
The couple married in 2007 in Indiana, and while both were born and raised Hoosiers, they loved Missouri and always planned to retire here and enjoy the beauty of the state.
Mr. Robinson retired from the U.S. Navy in October 2018; he loved to hunt and fish, and work around his farm and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Mark Twain National Forest surrounding their property. Even after retirement, he created regular work days keeping up around the farm, and working on his woodworking skills, creating, desks, tables and usual everyday items to make life easier.
