Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mansfield.

Michael W. Wiederaenders, 74, of Seymour, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019.

He was born Feb. 4, 1945, in Houston, Texas, son W.W. “Tex” Wiederaenders and Olive Rose Helton.

They moved in the 1960s to Missouri, where he lived in the Roby, Plato and Success area. He was a farmer and mechanic for most of his life. He lived in the Cabool area for many years and later moved to Seymour, where he and his wife, Connie, resided until his death.

He was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and truly believed in the Lord. He loved helping and serving others.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Benita J. Isman and Melissa D. Vonallmen.

Survivors include his wife, Connie; four children, Kristal formally known as Benjamin, Conrad, Edward and Baalis; two brothers, Patrick Wiederaenders of Shawnee Mission, Kan., and Jonathan Wiederaenders of Warrenton Ga.; three sisters, Kerry Sooger of Minneapolis, Minn., Melanie Moore of Mansfield and Candace Sternberg of Plato.

A memorial service is 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mansfield. Arrangements are under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home, Cabool.
