Texas County Farm Bureau’s annual meeting is 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, inside the community building at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds. The guest speaker is Rep. Jason Smith.
A steak dinner will be served. Members are asked to bring a side dish and auction item, if possible, to raise money for the I.C. Keeney Memorial Scholarship distributed each year to local students.
