The eighth annual Prayer Zone Challenge – an effort to pray for Texas County schools – is 6 p.m. Sunday (tonight) inside Hiett Gymnasium.
Launched in the fall of 2011, the event rallies believers with an annual service that features worship, a message and group prayer. The effort is hosted by the Houston Ministerial Alliance.

This is year’s speaker is Pastor Jim Millspaugh of Life Church in Houston.
Every time a believer sees a sign in Texas County, they are asked to pause and pray for their local school district.
