The Houston High School junior varsity football team beat Salem 32-6 in a home game Monday evening in Tiger Stadium.
Freshman quarterback Danny Venable threw three touchdown passes in the contest, connecting with freshmen Dakota James and Harold Lassiter and sophomore Nathaniel Garnica. Sophomores PJ Mister and Zack Fuwell had touchdown runs for Houston. The score was 32-6 at halftime and neither team scored in the second half.
