The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Rachel D. Mister, 33, of 215 Oak St. in Houston, was cited on Sept. 4 for allowing an animal to run at large.
•Jeffery A. Bauer, 53, of 8106 U.S. 63 in Houston, was issued citations for driving without a valid license and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway after a traffic stop on U.S. 63 at about 4:35 p.m. Aug. 22.
An officer on patrol made the stop after observing a white Pontiac Grand Prix moving erratically on the highway in front of the fairgrounds. During the process, multiple used syringes were found in the car. They were determined to belong to a passenger who was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia: Steven A. Barton, 34, of 903 Parkway St., No. 2, in Cabool.
Both men were taken to the Texas County Jail, fingerprinted and released to a driver with a valid license.
•Blade M. Johnson, 29, of 211 Buddy Lane in Mountain View was cited on Aug. 22 for driving without a valid license.
•Skye C. Marler, 19, of 220 Carter St., No. 15, in Licking, was issued a citation for stealing after allegedly shoplifting at Walmart on Aug. 21.
