Additional information:
“Dear Parents and Guardians,
This afternoon, Houston School administrators received information by phone alleging that there could potentially be a threat to campus. I would like to reiterate that our top priority is keeping students safe at all times. With that said, security personnel were notified and dispatched immediately. The Houston Police Department and Texas County Sheriff’s Department are continuing to investigate the alleged threat and currently have a person of interest in mind who is not a student of our district. The threat was never on school property. While the district is limited as to what it can say, the Houston Police Department and/or Texas County Sheriff’s Office may be able to provide additional information. Again, our top priority is student safety. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact the school at (417) 967-3024.”
