A 48-year woman from Licking, Mo., received moderate injuries in a Sept. 23 crash southeast of her hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

A woman from Licking received moderate injuries Monday in a crash southeast of her hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Barbara A. Williams, 48, was traveling eastbound in a 2001 Chevrolet S-10 when she fell asleep and the vehicle traveled off Highway VV, overturned and struck a tree, said Tpr. Jacob Sellars. 

Williams, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Sellars said the vehicle was totaled.
