Texas County and Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol escaped the long holiday weekend without a single fatality.
There were only four persons who lost their lives on state highways, compared to 11 in 2018, the patrol said.Â
The counting period ran from 6 p.m. Friday until midnight Monday.Â
Officers investigated 309 crashes that left 107 injured. The patrol made 116 arrests for DWI and handled 95 drug arrests, it said.Â
Troop G of the patrol includes Texas County and eight other counties in south-central Missouri.
