Two persons were charged with drug-related offenses in Texas County at about 1:57 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29,  the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Two persons were charged with drug-related offenses following a traffic stop early Sunday in Texas County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Jacob J. Higginbotham, 28, of Houston, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, felony drug paraphernalia possession, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession and wearing no seat belt. 

Ashley M. Clark, 32, of Lakeland, Fla., was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, felony drug paraphernalia possession and wearing no seat belt. 

Both were cited and released.

Alex J. Wilson, 20, of Licking, was charged with possession of marijuana on Saturday, as well as wearing no seat belt and speeding. He was cited and released.
