The Houston Police Department handled several investigations in the last week.

The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Donna M. Hunter, 39, of 20407 Dalton Lane at Licking, was issued a citation for stealing under $750 after allegedly shoplifting at Walmart on Aug. 20.

•Bobbie Crawford, 38, and Andrew Villarreal, 48, both of 424 King St. in Houston, were each issued citations for fourth-degree domestic assault after an incident at their house on Aug. 26.

•Eric D. Vandiver, 32, of 1918 Linda St. in West Plains, was arrested at about 10:50 p.m. Aug. 26 for having an active Howell County felony warrant for second-degree burglary.

An officer made the arrest after observing two men sitting on the curb on the north side of the Walmart parking lot and stopped to investigate. A computer check revealed the warrant, and Vandiver was taken to the Texas County Jail, where he was unable to post $5,000 bond and was incarcerated awaiting extradition to Howell County.

•A Houston school bus driver reported on Aug. 23 that a blue and white GMC pickup had driven around the bus while it was stopped to unload a student on East Crest Drive with the stop arm extended and lights flashing.

The driver provided the vehicle’s license plate number and it was registered to a Mountain Grove man. Investigation continues.
