A Fort Leonard Wood resident was injured early Saturday in a crash in northwest Texas County.
Tpr. Jacob Sellars said a northbound 2006 Buick Lucerne driven by Evelyn A. Hawkins, 32, ran off the left side of Highway AW and struck a tree at about 4:15 a.m.
She was taken by private vehicle to General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital with minor injuries.
The vehicle was totaled. Hawkins was wearing a seatbelt, she said.
