A Texas County Sheriff’s Department investigation on Oct. 4 has led to a pair of felony charges against a Houston man.
Gary L. Couchman, 26, of 16120 Horseshoe Drive in Houston, is charged with second-degree assault (a class D felony) and armed criminal action (an unclassified felony).
In a probable cause statement, a deputy reported being dispatched to a Golden Trail Road residence after a woman called indicating Couchman had assaulted another man by pulling a knife on him and shooting him with a BB gun.
