The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Rachel L. Smith, 30, of 1224 Dewey St. in Houston, was cited for driving while suspended on Oct. 16.
•Allen M. McConnaughhay, 24, of 16667 Boone Creek Road at Licking, was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident at U.S. 63 and Highway 17 at about 1:10 p.m. Oct. 18.
•Karen Moss, 25, of 116 E. Main St. in Houston, was issued a citation for supplying alcohol to a minor on Sept. 28.
An officer responded at about 1:55 a.m. to a report of a vehicle parked in the middle of the roadway on Main Street by the 911 office. The officer made contact with the man who was in the driver’s seat, and he told the officer he had just picked up his 16-year-old son from a house on Main Street and the boy was very drunk.
The officer went to the residence and made contact with Moss, who reportedly admitted there had been underage kids drinking at the location. She was ticketed and taken to the Texas County Jail, where she was fingerprinted and then given a courtesy ride home.
Officers from the Houston Police Department handled several investigations during the last week.
•Eric J. Buell, 35, of 1435 Thomasville Road, Apt. 5, in Houston, was cited for fourth-degree domestic assault after an incident at the same apartment complex at about 1:20 a.m. Sept. 20.
A woman at the location was cited for interfering with an arrest: Rebecca L. Sprouse, 28, also of 1435 Thomasville Road, Apt. 5, in Houston.
