The Houston High School faculty and administration will host the 2019-2020 Houston Regional College Fair from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23.
Scheduled through the Missouri School-College Relations Commission, the program will provide both parents and students with an opportunity to gain information from a variety of school and state agencies regarding postsecondary planning and career development. The format of the program will be that of a fair by which parents and kids will be able to visit with a number of representatives from colleges, vocational schools, military branches and governmental agencies.
More than 50 representatives are expected to be in attendance.
The program will utilize the following time schedule:
•9 to 9:15 a.m.: HHS freshmen and sophomores
•9:20 to 9:55 a.m.: HHS juniors and seniors
•10 to 10:30 a.m.: Cabool, Eminence, Licking, Mountain Grove, Plato and Summersville students.
