The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department:
•Deputies responded at about 5:15 p.m. Oct. 23 regarding a report of an argument between a man and a woman at a Freedom Road residence at Willow Springs.
The officers made contact with the man, 28, and woman, 30, who said the dispute had been verbal only. The woman stated she was mad because her children had returned their school photo proofs back to the school without her seeing them.
She told dispatch she was having a heart attack. An ambulance crew arrived and determined she was OK.
No charges were pursued and the man and woman were advised of the 12-hour rule.
•An officer investigated a report of a truck stolen from a Clear Springs Road residence at Willow Springs on Oct. 24.
The deputy spoke to a man who said that while his 73-year-old father was out of state hunting, his 2016 Chevrolet Silverado valued at $18,500 had been swiped sometime between 5 p.m. Oct. 23 and 7 a.m. Oct. 24.
•Jasper D. Robbins, 31, of 18712 Robertson Drive at Licking, came to the Texas County Jail at about 10:40 p.m. Oct. 7 to turn himself in on a Texas County felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Robbins was booked into jail and released after posting $25,000 bond.
•Belinda J. Bryant, 60, of 16464 Forrest Drive in Houston, was arrested Sept. 27 for having an active Texas County warrant for two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance and three misdemeanor drug charges.
A deputy served the warrant at Bryant’s house at about 11:30 p.m. She was taken to jail with a bond set at $150,000.
