Two Licking girls were injured Friday, Oct. 18, in a crash north of their hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Two Licking youths were injured Friday morning in a crash north of their hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Kalee A. Brazier, 17, of Licking, was driving a southbound 2008 Ford Focus that ran off the right side of Highway C, struck a  post, returned to the roadway and travelled off the left side and hit a telephone pole and a fence before overturning. 

Brazier and a 10-year-old passenger, who was not identified, were taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Brazier had moderate injuries and was wearing a seat belt; the passenger had minor injuries and wasn’t wearing a seat belt, said Tpr. Justice Simpson.
