Two Owensville residents were injured Thursday in a two-vehicle crash at Simmons.
Tpr. Jacob Sellers said a northbound 2018 Dodge Journey driven by Linda J. Merrell, 67, crossed the centerline on U.S. 63 and struck a towed unit on a southbound 2006 Dodge Ram operated by Travis W. Tooley, 43, of Willow Springs.
Merrell and Tonie D. Helmig were taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston with moderate injuries.
Both vehicles had extensive damage.
