A Miss Merry Christmas pageant is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Melba Performing Arts Center in downtown Houston.
There are several divisions for participation:
•Kindergarten to first grade
•Second to third grade
•Fourth to fifth grade
•Sixth to eighth grade
•Ninth to twelfth grade
Organizers said it is open to any young lady residing in Texas County.
Areas of competition, include opening number, introduction and modeling of Christmas-themed outfit, talent and evening wear and on stage question.
