Members of the Texas County Commission met Oct. 30-31 to transact business.
Members:
•Heard from Mike Scott of Barker Phillips Jackson in Springfield related to the county’s insurance coverages and rates for 2020.
•Reviewed correspondence from the Missouri Department of Conservation related to Clinton Township.
•Signed a contract with ClearBasin for mapping services.
•Heard from Sheriff Scott Lindsey regarding staff changes: Meagan Brown is no longer a full-time jailer effective Oct. 29. Mike Whaling resigned as a part-time jailer effective Oct. 27. Jay Gore was employed as a full-time jailer on Oct. 28. Alyssa Murrell was hired as a full-time jailer effective Oct. 24.
