Three persons were injured and a fourth person fled during a crash at 6:52 p.m. Thursday on Highway B. 

Several persons were injured in a crash Thursday night east of Houston on Highway B that saw one of drivers flee, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Cpl. Terry Nelson said a westbound 2010 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Jeremiah S. Frye, 34, of Houston, was stopped attempting to make a right turn into a field entrance when it was hit from the rear. 

The driver of the vehicle, a 1992 Chevrolet truck, fled. A passenger was Jon J. Little, 31, of Mountain View. 

Frye had moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. A passenger, Katherine K. Frye, 29, of Houston, and Little had minor injuries and also went to TCMH. 

Nelson said no one had seat belts on. The truck was totaled. The Traverse had extensive damage. 

The Houston Rural Fire Association rescue squad was called to assist.
