Seven Houston High School football players have received 2019 South Central Association All-Conference recognition.
Three Tiger seniors were named to the All-SCA first team: Chance Mitchell at linebacker, Chris Cichon at defensive line and Devin Wallander at offensive line.
Sophomore tight end Korbyn Tune made the second team and three HHS seniors received honorable mention: Robbie Mortensen at offensive line, and Dakota Burchett and Connor Wilson at defensive back.
HHS 2019 STATISTICAL LEADERS
•Rushing: Chance Mitchell – 187 carries for 962 yards.
•Passing: Dakota Burchett – 66-for-156, 817 yards.
•Receiving: Connor Wilson – 21 receptions for 276 yards.
•Total yards: Chance Mitchell – 1,007.
•Tackles: Chance Mitchell – 78 (60 solo, 18 assists).
