The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Mickey M. Croft, 27, of 14497 Boiling Springs Road at Licking, was issued two citations for stealing under $750 after allegedly shoplifting at Walmart on Oct. 29 and Nov. 15.
•Blake A. Harrison, 18, of 9096 Highway 17 at Bucyrus, was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at about 6 p.m. Nov. 19.
•Carl T. Davis, 87, of 515 Garst St., No. 8, in Cabool, was arrested on Nov. 21 for having an active City of Houston warrant for failure to appear on an original assault charge. An officer made the arrest after observing a silver Mercedes sedan stop on the side of the road at Thomasville Road and U.S. 63 and then stopping to ask the driver – Davis – if he needed assistance. A routine computer check revealed the warrant. After being allowed to park his car at city hall, Davis was taken to jail.
Houston police issued citations and made an arrest recently.
•Neely R. Norris, 18, of 14202 Cloverdale Road at Cabool, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 on Nov. 20 after allegedly swiping cash from the till while working as a cashier at Walmart. Norris reportedly told a Walmart investigator she had taken money on two separate occasions; once $50 and once $20.
