The Houston School District released this information this afternoon to parents of students:
“At approximately 1:45 pm on November 1, 2019, the Houston R-I School District went into a soft lock down due to a reported gun on campus. The soft lock down was lifted at approximately 2:05 pm. All students and staff are safe and classroom instruction has resumed. Please do not call the school at this time. Additional information will be communicated to you as soon as it becomes available.”
