Share Your Christmas, the annual holiday campaign to provide items to deserving children, is underway.
The drive began last week at the Houston Lions Club Den on North U.S. 63. Pat Miller, coordinator, said as always, there is a need of new or gently used children’s clothing and coats. Blankets, sheets and any type of bedding are always much requested items. “We gladly accept all sizes of clothing and any useable household items,” she said.
Applications are taken from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at Lions Club basement through Dec. 6.
An Angel Tree will be set up soon at Houston Walmart Supercenter on South Sam Houston Blvd. It will contain angels that outline needs of a case.
Anyone who would like to help or needs more information can call 417-217-1318 or come by Lions Club basement. Cash donations may be mailed to Share Your Christmas, P.O. Box 170, Houston, Mo. 65483.
