Authorities said a vehicle struck Walt’s convenience store at Roby at about 8 a.m. Friday, injuring a Plato woman.
Bobby D. Biram, 74, of Plato, was driving an eastbound 2008 Buick LaCrosse that failed to stop at a sign at Highways 32 and 17 and struck the building after he suffered an apparent medical condition.
Injured was Trula A. Steinbach, 57, who was flown from the scene to Mercy in Springfield. She had moderate injuries, said Tpr. Marty Wiseman.
Emergency personnel — including the Roby Fire Department — were called.
Assisting Wiseman were Sgt. Dale Pounds and Tpr. Jason Sentman of the state patrol.
