Douglas Leroy Brim, age 59, son of Lenard and Shirley (Bullock) Brim was born May 11, 1960, in Houston, Mo. He passed away Nov. 30, 2019, in his home in Raymondville, Mo.
Doug is preceded in death by his father, Lenard Brim, and brother, David Brim.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Brim of Raymondville, Mo.; brother, Darrell Brim of Mountain View, Mo.; mother of his children, Brenda Brim of Houston, Mo.; daughter, Tara Brim of Raymondville, Mo.; son, Jeff Davy and wife Tiffany of Raymondville, Mo.; grandchildren, Anthony, Paisley, Eden, Johnavan and Colson; and all those who called him Pa.
Doug grew up in the Texas County area, where he was a jack of all trades, including truck driver, logger and heavy machine operator. He loved to be outside hunting, fishing and working in the shop. His favorite thing above all else was playing with the grandchildren.
Doug was a loyal friend, fantastic father and a wonderful Papa. He accepted Jesus as his Savior and is now enjoying being in His presence along with his horse, Cisco. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
