A Houston woman was injured Tuesday morning when a vehicle left icy Highway Z south of Houston and overturned, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Doyle R. Hutsell, 84, of Houston, was traveling east bound in a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick when the accident occurred.
A passenger, Nora L. Hutsell, 85, was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, said Tpr. Jacob Sellars.
Both were wearing seat belts, and the vehicle had moderate damage.
Assisting at the scene were Houston Rural Fire Department, Intercounty Electric and the Texas County Sheriff’s Department.
