The annual campaign that helps children in Texas County is underway.

Share Your Christmas, the annual campaign that aids children in Texas County, registered 105 children in its first week.

Headquartered in the basement of the Houston Lions Club Den in Houston, applications are taken 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 6.

An “Angel Tree” is set up at the Walmart Supercenter on South Sam Houston Blvd. in Houston. It contains useful suggestions for the needs of children enrolled in the program. Toys for Tots donation boxes are at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Dollar General, Taco Bell and Landmark Bank in Houston. Donated toys benefit children in the program.

Pat Miller, coordinator, said Share Your Christmas is in need of good used children’s clothing and all types of bedding.

To help or obtain information, call 417-217-1318 or come by the Lions Club. Financial donations can be sent to Share Your Christmas, P.O. Box 170, Houston, Mo. 65483.
