Three persons were injured Saturday on ice-covered highways, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
A Cabool man was traveling eastbound on U.S. 60 when his 2016 Chevrolet Equinox traveled off the highway and came to rest in the median. James W. Gray, 27, of Cabool, was not injured. A passenger, Michael D. Gray, 26, had minor injuries and was taken to Mercy in Springfield by ambulance. The mishap was two miles west of Mansfield. The vehicle had moderate damage, and both were wearing seat belts.
Two Raymondville residents were hurt when their 2015 Toyota Prius ran off Highway B about four miles east of Houston and overturned. Beverly Givens, 49, the driver, and a passenger, Michael A. Krieg, 25, were taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The vehicle had moderate damage, and both were wearing seat belts, said Tpr. Marty Wiseman.
