Authorities are seeking a Cabool man who is wanted on charges of armed criminal action, second-degree domestic assault and second-degree kidnapping. Bond is set at 50,000.

A Texas County man faces three felony charges after a Texas County Sheriff’s Department investigation of an alleged incident involving a woman on Feb. 25.

Edward F. Dodd, 71, of Cabool, is charged with armed criminal action, second-degree domestic assault and second-degree kidnapping.

According to a report, a deputy responded to a domestic disturbance at a U.S. 63 residence involving Dodd and a woman. Upon arrival, the officer found Dodd gone.

The woman reportedly told the deputy that during an argument, Dodd had thrown a coffee mug at her and broken a glass table. She said he then grabbed her hair and threw her down onto a bed, and then threatened her with a piece of glass from the table.

The woman reportedly told the deputy she has been trying to leave for three months, but Dodd wouldn’t let her, and that Dodd had also refused to leave. She stated Dodd had kept her at bay using threats, bodily harm and intimidation.

Dodd was still at large as of Thursday morning. His bond is set at $250,000.
