The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department:
•Rocky Morgan, 39, and Donna Garcia, 38, both of 8445 Mineral Drive in Houston, were each issued citations for fourth-degree domestic assault after an incident at their residence on Feb. 8.
•A deputy was dispatched at about 1:30 a.m. Jan. 28 regarding a report of a 38-year-old man missing from a Shafer Road residence at Licking.
The officer made contact with the man’s 47-year-old girlfriend, who said he had left the residence and she couldn’t find him. After a short time, the man’s brother called and said the man was at a friend’s house and was fine.
•Stanley Handley, 65, of 40153 Highway 32 at Falcon, was issued a citation for failing to stop for a school bus discharging children on Jan. 9.
The Plato School District filed a complaint indicating a maroon Chevrolet S-10 pickup had failed to stop for a bus with its stop sign arm extended. A computer check of the vehicle’s license plate led to Handley being cited.
