The Houston Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual banquet this Saturday in the community building at the chamber fairgrounds on U.S. 63 north of Houston.
The event is open to the public and will begin with a social hour and appetizers at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $20 apiece and are available at the door or at the Houston Visitors Center (at Walnut Street and U.S. 63).
The theme for this year’s banquet is “Gone With The Wind,” and people are encouraged to dress in applicable costume.
A meal will be served (catered by Savor Grill), and there will be a trivia contest and table-decorating competition. The night will also feature an awards ceremony, live auction, silent auction, cake and pie auction and a wine and whiskey pull.
