Firefighters were called Wednesday afternoon west of Houston to assist with a blaze.

Members of the Houston Rural Fire Department were called at about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday to a blaze.

Authorities said a vehicle trailer with welding unit was on fire at 15241 Piney Drive west of Houston.
