The number of COVID-19 cases jumped in the past week, the Texas County Health Department reported on Friday.

Forty-two positive cases were recorded since Saturday.

There are 43 isolated at home, and no one is hospitalized.

Since Jan. 1, there have been 1,643 positive cases. Of those, 80 had been vaccinated. The death count stands at 30 this year.
